We seal eave gaps where the roofline meets the walls. Down low we fill foundation cracks and utility penetrations with steel wool, foam sealant, and mesh barriers, and we close entry holes with chew proof materials that a rodent cannot gnaw back through.
We seal around HVAC lines, plumbing, and electrical conduits, protect the gaps around exterior AC lines and the condenser, and fit garage door rodent seals and bottom weatherstripping.
On the tougher openings we use 16 gauge galvanized steel hardware cloth, which holds up to years of chewing. When we finish, the ways in are gone.
Rodents do not just live in the attic, they foul it. Droppings, urine, and old nests soak into the insulation and can carry bacteria and viruses, including the one behind hantavirus, which is a real concern in rural San Diego County. We remove the waste and any insulation the rodents ruined, then sanitize the affected surfaces with hospital grade disinfectants. We treat the space with odor neutralizers and air purifiers so the smell that draws in the next round of rodents is gone. If we pulled out contaminated insulation, we can install new insulation so your attic is back to full protection instead of sitting empty.

We couldn't be happier with this service. This company took care of the rats in the attic areas, and filled gaps in the roof/garage/gutters/and vent areas. Service was exactly what we needed. They filled the gaps, blew in new insulation, and repaired a few ducts in the attic that the rats nested in.
